Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how e Tech Hub collects, uses, stores, shares and protects personal information when you visit www.etechhub.in and contact us, or engage us for our services.
e Tech Hub is an India-based e-commerce business management company, founded in 2017. We act as a third-party service provider to sellers and brands on online marketplaces such as Amazon (India, USA, UK and other regions), Flipkart, Myntra, Ajio and Nykaa etc. Our services include product cataloging, pricing consultancy, events, promotions and advertisement management, order processing and return management, warehousing and inventory management, and payment reconciliation.
We are an independent service provider. We are not owned by, or acting on behalf of, any marketplace. Each marketplace has its own privacy policy, which governs the data it collects from you directly.
By using the Website or our services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or share your information with us. This policy is published in line with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, as applicable.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the information we need to respond to you and deliver our services.
a) Information you give us through the Website
•      Enquiry and contact forms: your name, mobile number, email address, subject and message.
•      Communications: anything you share with us by phone, WhatsApp, email or social media, including feedback and queries.
b) Information from clients (sellers and brands) when we provide services
•      Business and contact details: business name, authorised contact person, phone, email, address, GSTIN, PAN, trademark or brand registry details, and other KYC documents needed to set up or manage marketplace accounts.
•      Product information: product details, images, specifications, pricing, cost and inventory data you share for cataloging, pricing and listing work.
•      Marketplace and advertising account data: sales reports, order and return data, advertising campaign data, settlement and payment reports, and seller performance metrics that we access to manage your account.
•      Banking and payment details: invoicing details and, where needed for account setup or reconciliation, bank account information. We do not store card numbers.
c) Information about your customers (end buyers)
While processing orders, returns and buyer messages on a client's behalf, we may see limited buyer details made available by the marketplace, such as name, shipping address and order details. We use this only to fulfil that client's orders and handle related queries, and only as permitted by the marketplace's own policies.
d) Information collected automatically
•      Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system and language settings.
•      Usage data: pages visited, time spent, links clicked, and the date and time of your visit.
•      Approximate location: based on your IP address.
•      Cookies: We use cookies or similar technologies to recognize your device, remember you, and support the continuity of your experience.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:
•      Respond to enquiries and explain our services and pricing.
•      Set up, manage and optimize marketplace seller accounts on our clients' instructions.
•      Create and update product listings, run promotions, and manage advertising campaigns.
•      Process orders and returns, answer buyer messages, and manage claims and disputes.
•      Prepare sales reports, inventory plans and payment reconciliations.
•      Send invoices, collect payments and keep business records.
•      Share service updates, and, with your consent, newsletters or offers (you can opt out at any time).
•      Understand how visitors use the Website so we can improve it.
•      Prevent fraud and misuse, and keep our systems secure.
•      Comply with legal, tax and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

4. Access to Client Marketplace and Advertising Accounts

To deliver our services, clients may give us access to their seller central, seller panels, advertising consoles and related tools.
•      Preferred access method: wherever a marketplace allows it, we ask clients to add us as a secondary user with limited permissions, rather than sharing their main login password.
•      Purpose limitation: we use this access only for the work the client has agreed to, and do not use client data for any other client or for our own purposes.
•      Confidentiality: client sales figures, pricing, cost data, advertising strategy and buyer details are treated as confidential. Only team members assigned to that account can access them, and all staff are bound by confidentiality obligations.
•      Marketplace rules: we handle marketplace data, including buyer information, in line with each marketplace's policies (for example, Amazon's Data Protection Policy and seller agreements).
•      Removing access: clients can remove our access at any time from their account settings. When an engagement ends, we stop accessing the account and return or delete client data as described in Section 7.
The client remains the owner of its seller account and its data. For buyer information, the client and the marketplace decide how it is used; we process it only on their behalf.

5. Sharing and Disclosure

We share personal information only when needed, and only with:
•      Marketplaces: Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Ajio, Nykaa and others, when we submit listings, KYC documents, campaigns or claims on a client's instruction.
•      Logistics and warehousing partners: courier companies, fulfillment centers and warehouses, to ship orders and manage inventory.
•      Service providers: hosting, email, cloud storage, accounting and payment tools that help us run our business. They may use the data only to provide their service to us.
•      Professional advisers: accountants, auditors and legal advisers, under confidentiality.
•      Legal authorities: when required by law, a court order or a government request, or to protect our rights, our clients or others from fraud or harm.
•      Business transfers: if e Tech Hub is merged, acquired or sells its assets, information may pass to the new owner under the same protections.
We never share one client's data with another client.

6. Cookies and Tracking

The Website uses cookies (small files stored on your device) to work properly and to understand how visitors use it.

•      Marketing cookies: if we run ads on platforms such as Google, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) or LinkedIn, their pixels may help us measure results and show relevant ads.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the Website may not work properly if you do. Our social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter and YouTube) are governed by those platforms' own privacy policies.
